O. Lee Hazen, DMD
Dr. Hazen enjoys making a positive change in his patients’ lives: easing their anxiety, taking them out of pain and improving their smiles health and cosmetics. His goal is to provide a caring, comfortable dental treatment so that each visit is a great dental experience. He realizes that your oral health has a profound impact on your overall well-being and feels fortunate to have a career that allows him to improve his patients’ health, confidence and self-esteem. He also enjoys his profession because it gives him the opportunity to interact with so many people on a daily basis.
After graduating with a B.S. in Science from Oregon State University, Dr. Hazen received his Dental Degree from the OHSU School of Dentistry. He’s a member of the American Dental Association.
Away from the office, Dr. Hazen is a Beaver football fan, enjoys photography, wood working and taking care of his ranch.

Edgar Merzenich, DMD
Dr. Merzenich decided to become a dentist after positive expereances with his families dentist that he admired. Dr. Merzenich says, “my desire to help people with their dental health challenges, even most difficult cases–and the the joy of patients when I am able to do things beyond what they expect is possible–those beautiful smiles make it all worth it”. He feels honored that he has so many long term faithful patients.
After graduating from University of Oregon, Dr. Merzenich received his Dental Degree from the Oregon Health & Science University University. To keep abreast of cutting edge technology, he’s a member of the American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Association. He is the recipient of the James Carter Memorial Surgery Award.
In his free time, Dr. Merzenich can be found working on his tree farm and sawmill. He has been named “Tree Farmer of the Year” and “Grand National Champion” by Woodmizer for his for community projects. He also enjoys fishing, hunting and being a Grandpa.

Stephanie Ness, DMD
Dr. Ness says, “My father is a dentist, and growing up, I saw the satisfaction he got from helping his patients. Having chosen dentistry as my own vocation has given me the same fulfillment in helping others. I love working with my hands and working closely with people, both my patients and my office team members. I am passionate about engaging patients in their treatment and working together to reach the goal of optimal oral health. I look forward to meeting you!”
After graduating from Seattle Pacific University, Dr. Ness received her Dental Degree from the OHSU School of Dentistry. To keep abreast of changing technology, she’s a member of the American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Association.
Dr. Ness says, “I enjoy spending time with my husband who is also a dentist. I like learning new recipes, and we love singing karaoke!”

Tony Bassili, DMD
Dr. Bassili says, "At age 10, I broke my front teeth playing soccer. After several appointments, my dentist restored my front teeth. Getting my smile back had a big impact on my self confidence–it was then I decided to become an Endodontist."
Dr. Bassili says, "Helping people to achieve and maintain excellent dental health gives me the most satisfaction from my profession. In particular, I enjoy seeing the satisfied smiles of patients when a difficult procedure turns out fabulous! As a team we pride ourselves in being able to offer patients the highest quality care. We are dedicated to communication, availability, and the highest quality of Endodontics and Implant treatments. We are equipped with the latest technology including the use of a surgical microscope in very complex cases."
After graduating from Portland State University, Dr. Bassili received his D.M.D. from the OHSU School of Dentistry and his Endodontics Certificate from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He's a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American Dental Association. His awards have included the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Award. He speaks Arabic, too!

Dr. Van De Graaff says, “Interacting my with patients is the best part of the job! Dentistry affords me a unique opportunity to work with people and keep them healthy. Having a healthy mouth is an important part of being happy.”
After graduating from Brigham Young University, Dr. Van De Graaff earned his Dental Degree from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. While at Columbia, he completed the competitive dual degree program in Science Education. He subsequently completed a 6 year Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Kings County Hospital. He was awarded his Medical Degree at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, after which he completed a year of general surgery. His interests lie primarily in implantology, dentoalveolar surgery and sedation dentistry. He is also is bilingual in Spanish
Dr. Van De Graaff says, “I play jazz piano and like to jog. I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and four children.”.

Bryan Harvey, D.D.S., M.SOral & Maxillofacial Surgery
As an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. Harvey performs a full spectrum of procedures. These often complicated and delicate surgical techniques often lead to dramatic positive changes in his patients oral health and comfort. He encourages his patients to be involved in their treatment in order to achieve the best results possible, and is always open to questions and is attentive to each patient’s needs.
After graduating from the University of Michigan, Dr. Harvey received his D.D.S. from the Columbia University School of Dentistry. He was awarded his certificate and M.S. in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from Seton Hall University. Dr. Harvey is a faculty member at the OHSU where he teaches his specialty of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He has lectured to numerous professional groups and community organizations and is an active member of the many organizations including the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Away from the office, Dr. Harvey’s hobbies include snowboarding, hiking, basketball, golf, fishing, sailing, and playing both the guitar and piano.

Alexandra Terrazzani, D.D.S
Dr. Terrazzani says, “When I was a child, I fractured my front teeth. When they were restored, I couldn’t stop smiling again. I enjoy the ability to help my patients smile again, the same way my dentist helped me. I love being able to work with people and help them to treat gum disease, replace missing teeth and perform other therapies to make them smile and maintain/improve their health.”
After graduating from the University of Southern California, Dr. Terrazzani received her Dental Degree from their School of Dentistry. She was awarded her Periodontal Certificate from the OHSU School of Dentistry. She is an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Periodontology and the Oregon Society of Periodontists.
Dr. Terrazzani says, “Away from the office I try to get outside for some adventure: skiing, kite boarding, wakeboarding, hiking and camping. At home it’s reading, arts & crafts and cooking. I enjoy travel, too.”

Benita Wong, DDS, MS
What Dr. Wong loves most about her job is being able to interact with young kids, teenagers, and adults everyday while improving the appearance and function of their teeth and bite. She also especially enjoys being able to provide orthodontic services in an affordable way while spending as much time and attention for each individual patient as possible.
Dr. Benita Wong received her Dental degree and completed her Orthodontic specialty training at the University of California, San Francisco. Prior to her dental training, she graduated from Brown University, majoring in Chemistry with Honors.
She has won several awards for her master’s thesis research, academic achievement, and commitment to community service including the prestigious National Thomas Graber Award, the Charlie Schultz Award, UCSF American Association of Orthodontics Award, and the Ulrich Scholarship.
Dr. Wong was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (which is why she’s called a “Cajun Asian"), and she also spent most of her teenage years living in Hong Kong. She loves to travel with her husband, hike and backpack around Oregon, and spend time with their 2 dogs. Additionally, she enjoys drawing and painting, which is what sparked her interest in dentistry in the first place, as dentistry brings together art and science in a rewarding way that helps people improve their smiles and self-confidence.
